In a music industry of happy smiling scene bands that are predominately size zero boys that may or may not be just out of nappies. Still self-managed, Knock Out Kaine remain unfashionably cool with their middle digit firmly raised to the trend setters & followers alike.
Winning KERRANG!’s Best Unsigned Live Act 2007/2008 was an acknowledgement that the band had their live performance down, they have spent most of 2010/2011 touring both in the UK and in Europe supporting the likes of Steven Adler from Guns n Roses fame and British rock titans, Status Quo. Their debut album “House of Sins” was recorded in the latter part of 2010/11 at Chapel studios and mastered by Ray Staff (best known for his work with a diverse mix of artists including Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Clash and Black Sabbath.)
2012 was Knock Out Kaine’s debut to the wider world. This band represent the very essence of the Rock n' Roll eulogy. From the brilliant power ballad 'Coming Home' to the out and out Rock n’ Roll Monster “Set The Night On Fire”, Knock Out Kaine proudly stand for decadence, rebellion and having a damn good time!
2014 is the year of KOK. Currently finishing writing on their second album, Knock Out Kaine are set to hit the studio later this year. Watch this space for more details.
